| Wow its been like a week since i posted. Yeah, quick FYI note.....I've been banished from my home computer because im (and xanga) being blamed for a virus that hit it the other day (even though my mother seriously spends like four hours a day on the computer) so i now use the lsus library computer. So there will probably be more time than i would like in between posts, but ill try to at least do one a week. Anyway:
Friday was cool. Scot and I (oooooo! look at that grammar! lol) got to talk to a couple of people, and we did some prayer-walking. It was really cold and rainy so like we couldnt find any students to talk to, so we just hit a couple of workers. We had a good conversation with the second dude.
Saturday was awesome too. Me, Pug, my brother, Chad and his son went to the black history month jlparade downtown. We gave away a bunch of tracks and talked to several people. Me and Pug had a couple good conversations. Chad and Joshua said they had someone call on the Lord on the spot. I pray that he is saved. My heart aches for the religion that binds the black culture around here. So many are religious (even your gangsters) but i fear only a handful are converted. It was just so evident when we talked to people how blinded they are by there religion. The sad thing is, it looks so much like true Christianity sometimes, but it never fails , when you get to the heart of the individual, you find they are resting their salvation and hope in their works, not Jesus. Few and far between is the man or woman who leans completely on the righteousness of Jesus. Pray for the black people of shreveport/bossier. Pray God would deliver them from the bondage of their religion.

"What passes for preaching in some churches today is literally no more profound than what preachers in our fathers' generation were teaching in the five-minute children's sermon they gave before dismissing the kids. That is no exaggeration. It is often that simplistic, if not utterly inane. There is nothing deep about it. Such an approach makes it impossible for true worship to take place, because worship is a transcendent experience....Our people can only rise to heights in worship proportional to the depths to which we have taken them into the profound truths of the Word.........A bigger, louder band and more sentimental music might do more to stir people's emotions, but that is not genuine worship. True worship is a response from the heart to God's truth. (John MacArthur)
--P.S. I'll be on campus at 12:10-12:50 Friday handing out tracts. Anyone is welcome to help =)--
| Well we are now starting the second week of the semester. Things are finally settling down into something that looks like a routine. lol....fun fun. Im excited about this semester. I've been prayin that God will do a work on this campus this semester. I'm prayin that God would raise up some christian guys from the campus that i could hit it with. So, yeah, if any out there in xanga land go to lsus and are interested in some hard core, God-glorifying evangelism, let me know! I've already got a couple of friends that im planning with. We just want to see God glorified at lsus.

| Ok guys im gonna give this xanga thing one more try. Lol. For all you who dont know and care, I've officially moved on from BPCC (may she live forever...lol) and will now be attending the great LSUS. In other news, heres an awesome quote by the Prince of Preachers that i found the other day.
"Brothers, if any man thinks ill of you, do not be angry with him, for you are worse than he thinks. If he charges you falsely on some point, yet be satisfied. For if he knew you better, he might change the accusation, and you would be no gainer by the correction. If you have your moral picture tainted and it is ugly, be satisfied, for it only needs a few blacker touches and it would be still nearer the truth." --Charles Haddon Spurgeon
